This assignment was particularly challenging, as our team was the fourth brokerage hired after the property had been on the market for over a year with excessive pricing, leaving it “stale” in the eyes of many buyers. Despite this, through a boots-on-the-ground approach and our deep knowledge of the Gowanus market, we generated twenty-two (22) fresh, serious offers. Ultimately, the property was acquired by a local family office who recognized the opportunity and moved decisively to close.
